Moving On-CAUTION-PHOTOS!

Is the sun shining? Are the birds chirping? Are flowers blooming? Why yes, they are!

I was so miserable from the burns and then poof, literally overnight, I was incrementally better. And each day has been a step forward in healing. So much so that perhaps I overdid it and ended up in the doctor's office with a swollen breast and being told "what's what" by the doctor and my husband......

I will be laying "low" for the next week or so, including limited use of my arm. Also, the slathering of lotions, creams, and ointments will continue for at least another week as well. Once again, I find myself in that position of if I push too much, my body will just push back. Nope, I'm ready to finish this up and move on!

Unfortunately I am also battling Round 2 of the gi fungal infection. Joy of joys. But I am on the meds and beginning to feel better. Huh.

Now, a little bragging about my two boys....... John Paul is wrapping up his senior year next week. He presented two papers at the student research symposium on campus yesterday and killed it! I wish I could have been there. Brennan is wrapping up Basic Training this next week. The Forge is here and the lantern is made (IYKYK). He graduates May 9. Craig will travel to Missouri to be there for this achievement. Then Brennan is off to Texas for firefighter school.

So it's been a pretty good week. I am so relieved to have turned the corner from radiation. I hear that some more recovery fun remains to be experienced but that it is not painful. Yep, I can do that.
