Yesterday, Thursday, was my weekly chemo day. Three down, seventeen to go. All went well at the infusion. I did, for a little bit, feel "weird" or under the influence. Then again, with the number of pre-meds I received, I am not too surprised.
Craig was working and John Paul had the day off. So one of my besties took me. I cam actually say I had a good time. We gabbed and laughed all the way through.
Of course I had to wear the ice mittens and ice gloved during the Taxol infusion. It's really pretty miserable but permanent nerve damage would be much worse.....
I had labs and saw the doctor before the chemo infusion. My counts had dropped significantly. So two white cell booster shots this time, Friday and Tuesday. I am concerned that this may mean I will feel unwell longer during the week's cycle. We shall see.
Finally, my hair started coming out today. It's like a heavy shedding. I don't know the timeline but I will shave my head once the clumps start. So this may be the last picture with hair for a very long time. It bothers and me and makes me sad.
